Theresa Lucia Ramos was born on December 31, 1936 to Rafela Aguayo and Simon Aguayo in Barstow, California she passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday August 5, 2018 in Riverside, California. She attended most schools growing up in Barstow and worked at the Cliff House with her brother Mike and sister Serafina. She liked to dance, was friendly to everyone, and enjoyed tacos and enchiladas. Growing up she enjoyed being around her siblings, cousins and aunts, she loved family fiestas, and listened to Pedro Infante's songs, and loved watching Spanish novelas. It was in Barstow where she met her husband Jose Ramos who at the time was in the US Army, stationed at Fort Irwin. They married and later moved to San Bernardino where she spent most of her adult life.
Theresa is preceeded in death by her mother Rafela Aguayo and her father Simon Aguayo, and some of her siblings, her son, Joe Ramos, and husband Jose Ramos. She is survived by her brother Mike Aguayo of Arizona and sister Angelina Abeyta of Barstow, and her son Tony Ramos of Riverside, CA, and Angel Ramos of Highland, CA. She also leaves behind four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Theresa will be remembered most for her unselfish desire to help others in need, at any time, at any personal cost. She had a huge heart for those whom she felt were less fortunate in life than her. She had a special gift in her ability to connect with people. She was a unique soul, Theresa will be greatly missed.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
We all love you, and we will all miss you.
